Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your access to and use of LexNeethi AI. By creating an account or using the service you agree to be bound by them.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you”) and LexNeethi AI Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (“LexNeethi”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By registering, accessing, or using the LexNeethi AI platform, website, mobile applications, APIs or any related services (collectively, the “Service”), you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, AI Usage Disclaimer, and Acceptable Use Policy.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and legally competent to enter into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a firm, chamber, company or organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind that entity to these Terms.
3. Nature of the Service
LexNeethi AI is an artificial-intelligence-powered legal research, drafting and workflow assistant. The Service provides tools that help users draft documents, search Indian statutes and case law, summarise judgments, review contracts and organise legal work.
The Service is not a substitute for professional legal advice. LexNeethi is not a law firm, does not practise law, and does not create an advocate-client relationship with any user. Please read our AI Usage Disclaimer carefully.
4. Beta Programme
The Service is currently offered as a free public beta. Features, limits, pricing, availability and data-retention policies may change without notice during this period. Beta users may occasionally encounter defects, downtime or data loss and agree to use the Service on an “as-is, as-available” basis during the beta.
5. Account, Security and Verification
- You must provide accurate, current and complete information during registration and must keep it updated.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity on your account.
- You must promptly notify us at security@lexneethi.com of any unauthorised use.
- We may verify your identity or professional credentials (e.g., Bar Council enrolment) before granting access to certain features.
6. Licence to Use
Subject to your continued compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to access and use the Service for your personal or internal business use. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
7. User Content & AI Outputs
- Your content: You retain ownership of the documents, queries, and information you submit (“Inputs”). You grant LexNeethi a worldwide, royalty-free licence to process the Inputs solely to operate, provide and improve the Service.
- AI outputs: Subject to these Terms and applicable law, you may use, copy and modify the AI-generated outputs (“Outputs”) for your lawful purposes. You are solely responsible for verifying Outputs before relying on them.
- No confidentiality of prompts to third parties: Do not submit privileged, sensitive personal, biometric, or client-identifying information unless you have obtained the necessary consents.
8. Fees, Billing and Refunds
Paid subscription plans will be introduced after the beta period. Fees, billing cycles, taxes (including GST) and payment gateways will be disclosed at the point of purchase. Please refer to our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service. Prohibited activities include, without limitation, generating unlawful content, impersonating another person, reverse-engineering the Service, scraping data, transmitting malware, and attempting to bypass rate-limits or access controls. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, publicly display or create derivative works of any part of the Service except as expressly permitted.
11. Third-Party Services
The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services (including large-language-model providers, cloud infrastructure, payment gateways). Your use of such third-party services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content or availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LexNeethi, its directors, employees, agents and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of (a) the fees paid by you in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) INR 5,000.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless LexNeethi and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to (i) your breach of these Terms, (ii) your Inputs, (iii) your use of the Outputs, or (iv) your violation of any law or third-party right.
15. Suspension & Termination
